Over the week of June 6-13, the cost of scrap metal on the Turkish market fell by $40, to $390-395/t

Also, 12 types of hot-rolled and cold-rolled metal were added to the list

The conference will take place on June 23 in Istanbul

During May 30 – June 6, scrap metal prices in the Turkish market fell to $430-435/t

The new export tariffs will be valid until July 31

Scrap is still the most important material for reducing emissions in steel industry

Now, 48% of EU steel production is based on scrap, and more will be needed in the coming years

Last year scrap usage as a raw material for steel production increased to 32%

Before the order came into force, goods should be freely exported from Kazakhstan

During April 18-25, scrap prices in Turkey dropped to $570-575/t
