Horst Wiesinger had worked at Voestalpine for 30 years where he implemented projects in various areas of the steel industry. He was the President and CEO at Voestalpine Industrieanlagenbau. He was also the Vice Chairman of the Board and CTO at VA Technologies. In 2000, he defended a doctoral thesis in the University of Leoben.

In 1989, he received a diploma of Electrical Engineer from Heinrich Hertz Technical School in Karlsruhe. Mr. Schütt started his career in Fuchs Systemtechnik GmbH / VAI Fuchs GmbH / VAI Technika where he dealt with project management, automation, occupied positions of shop manager and group leader. Later, in Siemens, he was responsible for developing programs for electricity and automation solutions. Presently, he specializes in electrical steelmaking and implementing production automation programs.
