Tax payments increased by 27% y/y compared to the same period last year.

In January-September 2024, the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe increased the payment of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels and off-budget funds of Ukraine by 27% compared to the same period in 2023, up to UAH 3.992 billion. This was reported to GMK Center by the company’s press service.

Contributions to the state budget amounted to about UAH 3.01 billion (+25% y/y), to local budgets – UAH 506 million (+36% y/y). The company paid another UAH 475 million (+31% y/y) as a unified social contribution (USC).

“Thanks to the export of value-added products to the markets of the European Union, the United States and the Middle East, Interpipe is steadily increasing the amount of taxes paid to the budgets of all levels. By the end of 2024, the company is likely to update last year’s record figure. This allows Interpipe to be in a stable financial position, to maintain a team of thousands of employees and to ensure the implementation of investment projects,” comments Sergiy Kuzmenko, Chief Financial Officer of the company.

Despite the difficulties of wartime, Interpipe remains one of the key industrial companies in Ukraine, continuing to produce railway and pipe products for the domestic and export markets, invest in production facilities, and increase contributions to the Ukrainian budget. The total number of employees is about 9.5 thousand, and those who serve in the Armed Forces or other law enforcement agencies is about 950.

In 2023, Interpipe sold 387 thousand tons of pipe products and 95 thousand tons of railway products. Taxes and duties paid last year reached UAH 4.4 billion, a record high.
