Compared to 2022, the company's tax payments increased by 56%

In 2023, Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products, increased its tax payments to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine and off-budget funds by 56% compared to 2022, to UAH 4.38 billion. This was reported to GMK Center by the company’s press service.

The company paid UAH 3.35 billion to the state budget and UAH 477 million to local budgets. The company paid another UAH 558 million as a unified social contribution (USC).

«Last year, Interpipe enterprises paid record amounts of taxes to the budgets of all levels, despite the war, constant shelling of Nikopol, logistical obstacles and a decrease in orders from Ukrainian consumers. Nevertheless, the company continues to operate and produce high value-added products, providing the country with foreign currency earnings and thousands of jobs in the frontline region,» Sergiy Kuzmenko, Interpipe’s Chief Economic and Financial Officer, comments.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in January-September 2023, Interpipe increased steel production by 14.5% compared to the same period in 2022, to 530 thousand tons. The production of pipe products for 9 months remained at the level of January-September 2022 – 309 thousand tons, and railway products increased by 14.1% y/y, to 73 thousand tons.
