Interpipe increased pipe sales by 20.5% y/y in Q1

In Q1 2025, the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe increased its sales of pipe products by 20.5% compared to the same period in 2024, to 147,000 tons. This is stated in the company’s report.

The bulk of the pipes were shipped to Europe (58,000 tons, up 13.7% year-on-year) and America (37,000 tons, up 68.2% year-on-year). Domestic shipments totaled 21,000 tons, down 12.5% compared to the first quarter of 2024.

Sales of railway products for the quarter remained at last year’s level – 26 thousand tons. 20 thousand tons (+5.3% y/y) were sent to the European market, and 3 thousand tons (-25% y/y) to the Ukrainian market.

Steel production in January-March increased by 19.8% compared to the first quarter of 2024, reaching 218,000 tons. Pipe production increased by 16.9% y/y, reaching 138,000 tons. The largest share is accounted for by line pipes – 97 thousand tons (+16.9% y-o-y) and OCTG pipes – 40 thousand tons (+17.6% y-o-y). Railway product production decreased by 3.6% y-o-y to 27 thousand tons, including railway wheels – 20 thousand tons (-4.8% y-o-y).

As a reminder, in 2024, Interpipe increased its sales of pipe products by 32% compared to 2023, to 511 thousand tons. Sales of railway products for the year increased by 21% y-o-y, to 114 thousand tons. Steel production for the year increased by 23% y-o-y – to 834 thousand tons. Pipe production increased by 28% y-o-y – to 507 thousand tons, and railway products – by 12% y-o-y – to 112 thousand tons.

Over the past year, the company paid UAH 5.5 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels and extrabudgetary funds of Ukraine, which is 27% more than in 2023.
