
Compared to 2023, the amount of tax payments increased by 27% y/y
In 2024, Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe increased the payment of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels and off-budget funds of Ukraine by 27% compared to 2023, up to UAH 5.501 billion. This is stated in the company’s press release.
Payments to the state budget amounted to UAH 4.171 billion (+25% y/y), to local budgets – UAH 683 million (+40% y/y). The company paid another UAH 647 million (+32% y/y) as a unified social contribution (USC).
“For the second year in a row, Interpipe has been updating its record for paying taxes and fees to budgets of all levels, thereby confirming its status as a major taxpayer both regionally and nationwide. Despite hostilities in Ukraine, the Company continues to produce and to export added value products. This is the key to ensure that thousands of Ukrainians in the frontline region are provided with jobs, and the country receives foreign exchange earnings,” comments Sergiy Kuzmenko, Chief Financial Officer of the company.
Despite the difficulties of wartime, Interpipe remains one of the key industrial companies in Ukraine, continuing to manufacture railway and pipe products for the domestic and export markets, invest in production facilities, and increase contributions to the Ukrainian budget. The total number of employees is about 9.5 thousand, and those who serve in the Armed Forces or other law enforcement agencies is about 950.
In 2023, Interpipe sold 387 thousand tons of pipe products and 95 thousand tons of railway products. Taxes and duties paid in the year before last amounted to UAH 4.4 billion, which was a record high at the time.
