Metsys is starting construction of the first phase of its production facilities in the Kyiv region

The Ukrainian manufacturing company Metsys LLC has announced the start of construction on the first phase of its own production facilities. The 10-hectare site is located in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region. This was announced by Ihor Khoroshilov, co-founder and chief engineer of Metsys.

The project to revitalise and develop the site is scheduled to take 10 years and involves transforming a former unregulated landfill into a modern, high-tech enterprise:

  1. Total site area: over 60,000 square metres of production and storage facilities.
  2. Phasing: eight construction phases are planned for the gradual deployment of the company’s own production facilities.
  3. Specialisation: processing of steel and aluminium, and the production of metal systems for various applications (stamped, cold-formed and extruded systems made from metals, polymers and concrete) — ranging from stationery to industrial construction components.

“Our aim is to offer the market the most efficient methods of production and assembly,” notes Igor Khoroshilov.

The company’s development is taking place with strong support from key partners. The main strategic partner of the project is the Namato trading house (brands: Namato system, Namato Arm, Namato Install). In addition, more than 100 trading, installation and design organisations join the company’s ecosystem every year.

As reported by GMK Center, Metsys manufactures a variety of steel sections on leased premises. As of the second half of last year, the company was exporting approximately 40 per cent of its output and planned to produce 1,000 tonnes of products per month by the end of 2025.
