Horst Wiesinger, Chairman of GMK Center Supervisory Board, celebrates 81

On March 24, Horst Wiesinger, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ukrainian think tank GMK Center and the CEO of Austrian consulting company Horst Wiesinger Consulting, turns 81. He made and continues to make an invaluable contribution to the development of the steel industry, including in Ukraine.

Horst Wiesinger is a world recognized professional in the steel industry. Over the past twenty years, Horst Wiesinger has been the Founder and CEO of Horst Wiesinger Consulting which has implemented over 100 projects worldwide.

Horst Wiesinger had worked at the international steelmaking company Voestalpine for 30 years where he implemented projects in various areas of the steel industry.

During his professional career, he was the President and CEO at Voestalpine Industrieanlagenbau, Vice President of the Board and CTO at VA Technologies. In 2000, he defended a doctoral thesis in the University of Leoben.

In July 2020, Horst Wiesinger became Chairman of GMK Center Supervisory Board. Horst Wiesinger Consulting and GMK Center signed a long-term cooperation agreement in November 2019.

The GMK Center team congratulates Horst Wiesinger on his birthday and wishes him many new projects in steel industry.
