UAH 41.7 million were transferred to the local budget for 10 months, and UAH 16.8 million – to the state budget

Centravis, one of Europe’s largest suppliers of stainless steel pipes, transferred more than UAH 230 million in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine in January-October 2022. The press service of the enterprise reported about it for GMK Center.

The largest amount of funds went to the account of extra-budgetary funds – almost UAH 172 million. The local budget was replenished by UAH 41.7 million and the state budget by UAH 16.8 million.

In 2021 Centravis paid almost UAH 283 million in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine. Thus, despite the full-scale war, the company continues to work and fulfill its obligations to the state and the local community.

The company also provides assistance to security and defense villages, as well as to the population affected by hostilities. In total, Centravis provided assistance worth over UAH 3.3 million and purchased ammunition and protective equipment for mobilized employees of the enterprise.

“They say there is an inscription on the facade of the US Department of Justice: taxes are the price of civilized society. In our case, taxes are the price of protecting independence and statehood, and it is especially nice to pay them this year. We believe that every additional hryvnia will help repel aggression and rebuild Ukraine,” commented the CEO of Centravis Yuriy Atanasov.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in January-November 2022, Centravis reduced production of pipes by 34% compared to the same period last year – to 10.6 thousand tons. Despite the significant reduction in production, the company’s revenue is about 90% of the pre-war 2021.

In November 2022, Centravis received a contract for the supply of 20 tons of seamless pipes to a customer from Oman. Previously, the company worked with this customer, but since the beginning of the war, the customer stopped cooperation due to possible security risks.
