Vartis opened a new rolled steel warehouse in Lviv

Steel trading company Vartis opened a new rolled steel warehouse in the city of Lviv at the address of st. Zelena 149. This is stated in the press release on the company’s Facebook page.

«The new Vartis rolled steel warehouse in the city of Lviv is already working for its favorite customers. This is already the second steel center in the city of Lviv. The area of the covered warehouse is 850 square meters», the company notes.

Currently, the steel center has more than 250 tons or more than 1,000 items of rolled steel, in particular, rebar, pipes, sheets and other graded and shaped rolled products, as well as related products.

«You will definitely find everything you need, and the managers will be happy to provide quality advice. We continue to open new steel centers because we want to become closer to our customers,» Vartis summarizes.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in mid-May 2022, Vartis resumed work of its steel depots in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, which were closed due to military operations. The company opened 4 warehouses in Kyiv and about 10 in the region. In particular, in Bila Tserkva, Boryspil, Brovary, Vasylkiv, Vyshhorod, Obukhiv and Fastov.

The revenue of steelmakers from the export of such products fell by 73.5% y/y – to $1.35 billion. Export of long rolled steel decreased by 59.7% y/y – to 748.95 thousand tons. In monetary terms, deliveries fell by 55% y/y – to $693.53 million.
