Among the scrap offered for sale are types 501, 503, 500, 509, 508, 506, 502, 5, 361, 326, 313, 305 and others. These are worn parts of the rolling stock, crosses, wire and other scrap.
From the beginning of 2023, UZ successfully implemented 1.81 thousand tons of ferrous scrap for the amount of UAH 7.8 million. Initially, the railway operator planned to sell 20.54 thousand tons of scrap metal for UAH 82.2 million.
As GMK Center reported earlier, in 2022, Ukrzaliznytsia successfully implemented 113.04 thousand scrap ferrous metals with a total value of UAH 669.98 million. This is 43.8% and 55.4% less, respectively, compared to 2021.
