Specialists of Pokrovske Mine Administration installed a new Czech scraper conveyor CZK 228/800 in the 9th northern longwall of block №10. It is stated in the message on the Facebook page of Metinvest Pokrovskugillia.
The new conveyor has shortened transitional sections and removable guides. Monolithic guides made repairs more difficult, when they failed, the entire section had to be removed. Currently, the scraper chain guides can be dismantled separately from the section, as well as replaced directly in the pit.
Before sending the conveyor to the mine, the miners of the Repair of Slaughter Equipment 1 section measured it and made drawings of the parts in case of need for replacement in the future. At present, MetinvestPokrovskuvugilla has plenty of original spare parts, but it is possible to make new ones according to the drawings in order to have the necessary reserve.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Pokrovske Mine Administration is preparing four new pits for commissioning – it will be gradually opened this year. The company plans to launch the 9th northern longwall of block №10, the reserves of which are more than a million tons. Coal will be delivered to the mountain already in March 2023.
Also, specialists of Pokrovske Mine Administration have completed the installation and adjustment of two bulldozers. The equipment arrived at the enterprise before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, but only now will it be used in one of the most difficult areas.
