Metinvest Pokrovskugillia plans to introduce new longwalls and increase coking coal production in 2023. Interfax-Ukraine informs about it.
According to the company’s information, under the conditions of hostilities, Metinvest Pokrovskugillia’s enterprises are working, increasing production rates and need new employees. In particular, the plans of the Pokrovsk mine administration for the next year include the opening of new longwalls that need tunneling teams.
According to Sergiy Stepanenko, HR and Social Affairs Director of Metinvest Pokrovskugillia, these are large volumes of production increase, and at the same time it is necessary to attract new specialists.
For eight months of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, as the Head of the Metinvest Career’s Recruitment Department Center, Yuliya Tsikladze, informs, almost 1.5 thousand people were employed at the Metinvest Pokrovskugillia enterprises, now they come here from different regions – Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhiya, Avdiivka.
The salary in the Pokrovsk mine administration is one of the most competitive in the country. At the same time, an additional payment of 50% of the salary is provided for work in close proximity to the area of hostilities, as well as medical insurance. Employment takes place according to a simplified procedure. Now the company is in need of underground miners, operators of underground installations, sinkers, operators of mining excavation machines, specialists in the repair of mine workings.
Metinvest Pokrovskugillia in January-October 2022 produced 4 million tons of coal. During this period, the processing factory of the enterprise processed the entire volume of mined coal, and therefore, 1.86 million tons of high-quality coal concentrate appeared to support the industrial capacities of the state.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest Pokrovskugillia is putting into operation a new modern heavy-duty tunneling combine Sanyi. The machine is equipped with a liquid crystal display and remote control.
