Metinvest handed over 300 bulletproof vests for defenders to the Avdiivka direction

Metinvest handed over 300 high-class bulletproof vests to the Avdiivka region. Metinvest.Media’s press release reports about it.

According to the acting CEO of the Avdiyivka Coke Plant, Yuriy Ktsynenko, another tranche of ammunition for the armed forces arrived in the east of the country.

“The body armors are produced by us: the plates are produced by colleagues at the Metinvest factories, the plate carriers are also sewn in Ukraine. The company does not stop helping both military and civilians. We receive stoves, medicines, provisions. Every day we are in contact with the management of the company, with other enterprises. In Avdiivka, we understand needs and try to solve them. There have never been any failures either in terms of delivery time or quality,” Yuriy Ktsynenko notes.

In general, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, servicemen, security forces and critical infrastructure workers have received more than 2.6 thousand units of ammunition from the company.

Since the beginning of the war, the Metinvest Group has made every effort to provide the defenders of Ukraine with tactical equipment, mobile shelters, vehicles and protective equipment. In particular, the company handed over 150,000 body armor. Thus, every tenth body armor in the Armed Forces is made of Metinvest steel or purchased by the Group.

Body armors are provided free of charge. Requests for armor plates should be sent to the email address: smc@metinvestholding.com.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works at the beginning of October provided to the utilities of Zaporizhzhia with 300 bulletproof vests IV+ protection level and 150 protective Kevlar helmets.
