Interpipe supports education in Dnipro with modern technical equipment

Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has been consistently developing the technical education ecosystem in the region of its presence. Recently, 6 educational locations in Dnipro have received Fischertchnik programmable constructors, the company said in a press release.

The latest developments were handed over to schools in Dnipro and Dnipro Polytechnic, where over the past five years they have opened six modern engineering classrooms, helped adapt curricula, and trained teachers. Thanks to this, children have the opportunity to consistently acquire the relevant profession of a mechatronics engineer.

«We believe that the equipment of educational institutions and the technical education that children receive in them should meet the real needs of the Ukrainian industrial sector. And without the involvement of businesses like Interpipe, which actively invests and develops its own production, it is impossible to keep technical education relevant,» the company said.

In addition to gradually supplying schools and higher education institutions in Dnipro with important technical equipment, the company regularly organizes career guidance tours for pupils and students. Recently, a new format has been introduced: high school students first visit the production site and then get acquainted with the Machine Tool Workshop at Vocational School No. 2, which was modernized with Interpipe’s assistance.

As GMK Center reported earlier, during the war, Ukrainian industry faced a significant shortage of personnel, especially men, due to mobilization to the Armed Forces and poorly regulated reservations. Investing in the training of new skilled workers is an important part of the smooth operation of enterprises.

Earlier, Interpipe purchased equipment that it uses in its own production and updated the curriculum to train future machine operators at Vocational Technical School No. 2 in Dnipro. The company has also opened two more modern labor rooms in gymnasiums No. 121 and No. 24.

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that manufactures steel pipes and railway products. The company’s products are supplied to more than 50 countries through a network of sales offices located in key markets in the Middle East, North America and Europe. In 2023, the company sold 387 thousand tons of pipe products and 95 thousand tons of railway products. Rail products are sold under the KLW brand.
