The other day, the company officially opened two more modern labor offices in gymnasiums №121 and №24

Ukrainian industrial group Interpipe continues to develop the technical education system in Dnipro. This is stated in the company’s press release.

Recently, Interpipe has officially opened two more modern labor rooms in gymnasiums No. 121 and No. 24. Milling, grinding and sharpening machines, various hand tools and consumables were purchased for them. The classrooms themselves were overhauled.

“Now the students will work on modern equipment, in comfortable conditions, with quality materials, as if in a small model of a large modern production facility such as Interpipe. We hope that a few of these children in the photo will feel a real delight in working at the labor lesson and in the future will choose the profession of a turner, miller or CNC operator. Perhaps in a few years, after studying at a vocational school, they will come to work at our plant. And with each open classroom, the number of children inspired by production will grow,” the company notes.

There are currently seven such labor rooms in Dnipro. By the end of the year, two more are planned to be opened in cooperation with the city authorities.

“They are part of a large ecosystem that also includes a workshop at a vocational school, mechatronics laboratories at schools and Dnipro Polytechnic, technical clubs, regular excursions for schoolchildren to the production site, regional competitions, training courses for teachers and lecturers, and open lessons for students from neighboring schools. Our goal is to get as many children as possible interested in manufacturing today,” summarizes Interpipe.

During the war, Ukrainian industry faced a significant shortage of personnel, especially men, due to mobilization to the Armed Forces and poorly regulated reservations. Investing in the training of new skilled workers is an important part of the smooth operation of enterprises.

Earlier, Interpipe purchased equipment that it uses in its own production and updated the curriculum to train future machine operators at Vocational Technical School No. 2 in Dnipro.

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that manufactures steel pipes and railway products. The company’s products are supplied to more than 50 countries through a network of sales offices located in key markets in the Middle East, North America and Europe. In 2023, the company sold 387 thousand tons of pipe products and 95 thousand tons of railway products. Rail products are sold under the KLW brand.
