Kametstal has confirmed that its A500C reinforcing bars comply with national standards

In March, the steelworks also received a certificate of conformity for A400C-grade reinforcing bars

In June, the Kametstal Steel Plant confirmed that its A500C-grade reinforcing bars with a periodic profile comply with the requirements of national standards. This is stated in a press release from the company.

The compliance of these products with the requirements of DSTU 3760:2019 was confirmed following a successful recertification audit.

The audit was carried out by specialists from the State Enterprise ‘Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Scientific and Technical Centre for Standardisation, Metrology and Certification’, who inspected the production technology for reinforcing bars. The experts noted the stability of production processes, strict adherence to production technology and an effective quality control system, which the company maintains even during wartime.

The certificate of conformity issued following the audit will remain valid until June 2028.

In addition, in March 2026, the steelworks received a certificate of conformity for Class A400C reinforcing bars, which is also valid for two years.

“This latest successful recertification for Kametstal is the result of the daily, coordinated efforts of all production departments. The certificates of conformity confirm the consistent quality of our products and open up new opportunities for the plant and the company to participate in public and commercial construction projects,” the company stated.

Class A500C reinforcing bars with nominal diameters ranging from 8 to 36 mm are mass-produced on the 400/200 mill at Kametstal’s rolling mill to meet the needs of the Ukrainian construction industry. Since the start of this year, over 196,000 tonnes of this product have already been shipped to domestic customers.

It should be noted that, at the end of 2025, Kametstal’s B500-grade reinforcing bars were successfully certified by the Romanian certification body ICECON.
