Interpipe raises salaries for employees starting in March

The company raises wages for the third time since the full-scale invasion

Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products, has announced an increase in salaries for employees of all divisions, most of which are located in the cities of the frontline region – Dnipro, Nikopol and Samara – starting March 1, 2025. This was reported by the company’s press service.

Salaries will increase for workers, engineers, specialists, other employees of the KSS category, as well as some managers. The increase will be differentiated – it will depend on the demand for the profession in the labor market.

This is the third time the company has raised salaries since the full-scale invasion, despite the war and the difficult economic situation.

Currently, Interpipe employs more than 9,000 people.

“We are well aware of how difficult it is to work today and appreciate everyone’s contribution. The company has been systematically raising employees’ incomes: last year alone, salaries increased by up to 20% compared to the previous year. “Further salary increases will not only improve the market attractiveness of working for Interpipe, but also the well-being of employees and increase tax payments to the state budget,” said Interpipe CEO Andriy Korotkov.

At the same time, the company continues to provide a broad social package that includes free transportation to work, food subsidies, health insurance, assistance in restoring housing after shelling, holiday gifts, summer vacations for children and stationery for first-graders, etc.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Interpipe regularly raises employee salaries. In particular, a year ago, the company announced an average 20% salary increase for its employees. In March 2023, salaries increased by an average of 15%. In 2021, the increase took place in two stages – by 10% in April and 10% in October.

The average salary at Ukrainian iron and steel companies last year, according to the Federal Ministry of Finance, increased by 14.4% to UAH 27.3 thousand. According to GMK’s research, salaries in the sector are 37% higher than the national average. Metallurgical companies strive to create attractive working conditions, including by investing in safety.
