The company runs a comprehensive support programme for those returning to civilian life
PJSC ‘ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’ is among the leaders in Delo.ua’s ‘Top 50 Employers for Veterans’ ranking. This is stated in a company press release.
The editorial team examined the practices of Ukraine’s largest employers and compiled a list of companies that systematically work with veterans.
The Kryvyi Rih-based company took 7th place in the ranking. When compiling the list, the editorial team analysed the number of veterans employed by the companies, as well as the availability of programmes aimed at their integration, professional development, training and transition back to civilian life.
There are currently 356 veterans working at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih. To support them, the company operates a comprehensive support system covering medical, psychological, legal and information assistance, training and retraining opportunities, as well as support during their reintegration into the workforce.
Furthermore, the company focuses not only on veterans but also on training managers and teams to interact effectively with employees returning from service.
It is worth noting that in 2025, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih allocated nearly 57 million UAH to social projects and charitable aid. The funds were used to support local communities, veterans, the families of deceased employees and those affected by the war.
The company continued its systematic work with veterans. In particular, as part of the medical programme, 71 veterans underwent treatment and rehabilitation, including 19 who received spa treatment, whilst 69 people received dental care.
