In January-March 2024, Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products, increased its tax payments to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine and off-budget funds by 90% compared to the same period in 2023, to UAH 1.19 billion. This was reported to GMK Center by the company’s press service.
The company paid UAH 916 million to the state budget (+126% y/y) and UAH 138 million to local budgets (+29% y/y). The company paid another UAH 132 million (+21% y/y) as a unified social contribution (USC).
«The company has export orders, manufactures products and continues to increase its tax payments to the budgets of all levels. Last year, Interpipe resumed its investment program, implementing projects in Dnipro and Nikopol. We have plans to increase investment in the country’s economy, but this requires liberalizing currency regulation,» comments Sergiy Kuzmenko, Interpipe’s Chief Economic and Financial Officer.
As GMK Center reported earlier, in 2023, Interpipe increased its tax payments to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine and off-budget funds by 56% compared to 2022, to UAH 4.38 billion. The company paid UAH 3.35 billion to the state budget and UAH 477 million to local budgets. The company paid another UAH 558 million in unified social tax.
Interpipe is an international vertically integrated pipe and wheel company that ranks among the top 10 seamless pipe producers in the world and among the top 3 producers of all-rolled railway wheels.
