Interpipe opens 12th educational location to train future specialists

The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe continues to create an ecosystem of technical education for young people by building school-vocational education-industry and school-university-industry educational chains. As part of this initiative, the company has opened its 12th modernized school location, where students will be able to learn mathematics, physics, programming, and the basics of mechatronics, including industrial robot control, according to a press release.

In each of the educational institutions that have joined the program, the company is creating modern educational spaces that partially reproduce the real production process. This allows pupils and students not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that will be useful to them in their work at modern enterprises such as Interpipe.

“The children show a keen interest in production. So we hope to see them in our workshops as qualified specialists soon,” the company said.

Interpipe expressed special gratitude to the Dnipro city authorities – Dnipro City Council and the Department of Humanitarian Policy – who financed the renovation of the premises for the new educational location.

The company emphasizes that investing in education is a complex and long-term process, but it is strategically important even in times of war. Interpipe is convinced that such investments are no less important than investments in production facilities.

In early February, Interpipe and Dnipro city authorities modernized two school labor rooms. Both are located in schools on the left bank of the city and offer students interesting interactive activities in a comfortable environment. The company provided the classrooms with modern machines similar to those used in its own production.

Earlier, the company also purchased equipment and updated the curriculum for training future machine operators at Vocational Technical School No. 2 in Dnipro. In addition, two modern labor rooms were opened in gymnasiums No. 121 and No. 24. The city’s schools have recently received Fischertchnik programmable construction sets.

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that manufactures steel pipes and railway products. The company’s products are supplied to more than 50 countries through a network of sales offices located in key markets in the Middle East, North America and Europe. In 2023, the company sold 387 thousand tons of pipe products and 95 thousand tons of railway products. Rail products are sold under the KLW brand.
