Together with the city authorities, the company modernized two more school labor rooms
Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe continues to develop the technical education ecosystem in Dnipro. This is stated in the company’s press release.
Together with the city authorities, the company has modernized two more school labor rooms. Both are located in schools on the left bank of the Dnipro River and offer students interesting interactive steps in a comfortable environment.
Interpipe provided the classrooms with modern machines similar to those used in our own production. The main equipment includes milling, grinding and sharpening machines. These are mini versions of industrial equipment, but they are enough for children to try a real profession: although the scale of the products is smaller, the principle of operation is the same.
“The first pupils of the new classrooms are already getting a positive and inspiring experience of working with their hands. We hope that positive impressions at labor lessons will turn into a sincere passion for production in the future,” the statement said.
The city authorities have undertaken major repairs to both premises.
“We are grateful to our partners, the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council, who are developing technical education in Dnipro together with us,” the company concludes.
During the war, Ukrainian industry faced a significant shortage of personnel, especially men, due to mobilization to the Armed Forces and poorly regulated reservations. Investing in the training of new skilled workers is an important part of the smooth operation of enterprises.
Earlier, Interpipe purchased equipment that it uses in its own production and updated the curriculum to train future machine operators at Vocational Technical School No. 2 in Dnipro. Two more modern labor rooms were opened in gymnasiums No. 121 and No. 24. Recently, the city’s schools received Fischertchnik programmable construction sets.
Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that manufactures steel pipes and railway products. The company’s products are supplied to more than 50 countries through a network of sales offices located in key markets in the Middle East, North America and Europe. In 2023, the company sold 387 thousand tons of pipe products and 95 thousand tons of railway products. Rail products are sold under the KLW brand.
