Interpipe gave the military 2 armored American Humvee

Ukrainian industrial company «Interpipe» gave the military two armored American Hummer (Humvee). This is stated in the press release of the company.

The transfer took place within the framework of system support for combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The servicemen who received the vehicles, at the beginning of a full-scale invasion, performed combat missions in the Kyiv, Donetsk regions, later participated in the counterattack in the Kharkiv region, the Bakhmut operation, in the counterattack in the Zaporizhzhia region.

«Interpipe has been systematically supporting 132 separate reconnaissance battalions since the beginning of the great war, including pickups and trucks. Passed trucks, tractors, trawl. Two buggies were recently handed over, and now the battalion’s fleet is reinforced with two American Humvee armored SUVs, «the military says.

The military notes that the transferred cars are maneuverable, powerful and comfortable enough. Humvee is better suited to perform various types of combat missions in difficult circumstances than most light armored vehicles of other brands. One of the cars has a combat module that will allow machine gun fire.

«In simple words, Humvee is a reliable and tenacious working machine, tested not by one war. They will help us to effectively complete the task and return to the position alive and whole. We know cases when Humvee successfully returned after ten hits, «the military added.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Interpipe on the basis of January-March 2024 increased the amount of tax deductions to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine and extrabudgetary funds by 90% compared to the same period in 2023 – up to 1.19 billion UAH. In 2023, the company increased taxes by 56% y/y – up to 4.38 billion UAH.
