Interpipe announces salary increase for employees starting March 1

Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products, announces a salary increase for all categories of employees starting March 1, 2024. The company’s press service told GMK Center.

On average, salaries will increase by 20%. The increase will apply to blue-collar workers at the plants in Dnipro, Nikopol and Novomoskovsk.

In addition, the salaries of line managers in production, as well as engineers, specialists and managers of the company’s Ukrainian office will be increased. The salary increase will be differentiated.

«Ukraine has been at war for almost 2 years. Despite numerous challenges related to shelling, logistical problems at the Ukrainian-European border and in the Red Sea, as well as unstable water supply in Nikopol, Interpipe continues to operate, remaining one of the few stable large businesses in the frontline region. Today, stable production means paying taxes to the budgets of all levels, saving thousands of jobs and supporting our defenders in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To support our employees, the Company decided to raise salaries starting from March 1, 2024,» commented Andriy Korotkov, CEO of the company.

Interpipe regularly raises employee salaries, with salaries increasing by an average of 15% in March 2023. In October 2021, the increase took place in two stages – by 10% in April and 10% in October. In 2019, employees’ salaries increased by 20%. In addition, the company is constantly improving the skills of its employees, training new specialists and providing internships for students.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in 2023, Interpipe increased its tax payments to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine and off-budget funds by 56% compared to 2022, to UAH 4.38 billion. The company paid UAH 3.35 billion to the state budget and UAH 477 million to local budgets.

Interpipe is an international vertically integrated pipe and wheel company, one of the top 10 global producers of seamless pipes and one of the top 3 producers of wrought wheels.
