Steel production within the same period also increased, whereas production of rolled products declined

In January–August, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih PJSC (AMKR) increased production of pig iron by 11.3% to 3.72 million tons y-o-y, according to Interfax-Ukraine citing the updated statistics of the Company.

In 8M, rolled products production fell by 0.2% to 3.1 million tons y-o-y. Steel production grew by 4.1% to 3.32 million tons.

In August, AMKR produced 400 thousand tons of rolled products, 415 thousand tons of steel, 440 thousand tons of pig iron.

In 2020, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih cut production of rolled products by 7.6% to 4.3 million tons y-o-y. Steel production fell by 12.1% to 4.7 million tons, and pig iron by 6.9% to 4.9 million tons.
