ArcelorMittal increased iron ore concentrate production by 3.3% in 11M

The Company produced around 900 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate in November alone

In 11M 2021, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih PJSC (AMKR) increased production of pig iron concentrate by 3.3% to 10 million tons y-o-y, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

The Company produced around 900 thousand tons of concentrate in November alone.

As reported earlier, in 2020, ArcelorMittal increased iron ore concentrate production by 8.3% to 10.7 million tons, and pig iron production by 4.5% to 26.5 million tons.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih PJSC is an integrated steelmaking company, a part of the ArcelorMittal Group. Its activity covers the entire production route from iron ore mining and coke production to manufacture of finished metal products. The Company produces semi-finished and long products and rolled sections.

In 2020, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih cut production of rolled products by 7.6% to 4.3 million tons y-o-y. Steel production fell by 12.1% to 4.7 million tons, and pig iron by 6.9% to 4.9 million tons.
