The Dutch metalworking company 247TailorSteel launched production in Langenau, Germany (Baden-Württemberg) in September. The construction of the new enterprise began a year ago. Eurometal reports about it.
The plant in Langenau is the company’s third enterprise in Germany. Its production area is 15,000 square meters. With the launch of the new plant, 247TailorSteel significantly increased its own high-tech machine park. At the first stage, 100 workplaces were created. It is expected that its number will increase to 250 in the long term.
With the construction of the new plant, the company intends to strengthen its market position and offer more opportunities to customers in southern Germany and Austria.
In addition to branches in Varsseveld (Netherlands) and Oyten, Hilden and Langenau in Germany, 247TailorSteel also plans to open one more production unit in each of these countries, as well as facilities in Belgium and Austria. Ten production sites to be commissioned in 2025.
The company works with software of its own development, which allows customers to quickly place orders online. The same software controls equipment in factories.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Saudi Arabia intends to implement three steel production projects worth $9.32 billion.
