Zaporizhstal financed more than 1,000 sets of winter clothing for the military

Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works financed the production of more than a thousand sets of warm winter uniforms for the Ukrainian military. It is stated on the company’s Facebook page.

The set includes a jacket insulated with sintepon and fleece, a coat and two pairs of pants, the uniform is designed for temperatures down to -20 °C.

According to Oleh Astafiev, director of labor protection and industrial safety of Zaporizhstal, the other day Zaporizhia steelmakers handed over the first batch of this aid – about 200 sets. They have already been sent to the soldiers of the Zaporizhia separate territorial defense brigade.

The military notes that these clothes are made of high quality and fully meet the standards — they do not let moisture in and reliably protect against the wind.

The Kryvyi Rih enterprises of Metinvest plan to produce 550 stoves for the Armed Forces by winter — special teams were formed at the enterprises, which included locksmiths and electric gas welders. A team of 4 people spends approximately 16 hours on one field heater. For Ukrainian defenders, they make stoves of various modifications.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest handed over 300 high-class bulletproof vests to the Avdiivka region. The company has already provided 2.6 thousand units of ammunition to the military and employees of the critical infrastructure of Avdiivka.
