USA determined the preliminary dumping margin for seamless pipes of Interpipe

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the preliminary results of the administrative review of the anti-dumping order regarding seamless standard, linear and pressure carbon steel pipes from Ukraine. SteelOrbis reports about it.

As the ministry notes, during the inspection period – from February 10, 2021, to July 31, 2022, – the Ukrainian pipe producer Interpipe sold the relevant products at dumped prices.

After analyzing imports, the DOC established a weighted average dumping margin for Ukrainian products at the level of 4.99%.

The final results of the review will be announced within 120 days from the date of publication of the results of the preliminary review. The preliminary anti-dumping duty for Ukrainian products comes into force on September 7, 2023.

As GMK Center reported earlier, at the beginning of August 2023, the US Department of Commerce established previous anti-dumping duty on OCTG pipes from Ukraine with a weighted average dumping margin for Interpipe in the amount of 4.89%.

Also, in July 2023, the International Trade Commission of the United States adopted final decision on the continuation of the current anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the import of carbon and alloy steel wire rod from 10 countries, in particular, Ukraine. In March, the United States Department of Commerce, based on an expedited investigation, set the dumping margin for Ukraine at 44.03%.
