Ukrazliznytsia (UZ) has published a tender in the Prozorro system.Public Procurement for the purchase of spare parts for freight railcars with a total cost of UAH 110.59 million. This is evidenced by the information on trading platform’s site.
Thus, the “Production Supply Center” branch of UZ plans to receive 983 side frames and 541 bolsters by the end of 2022.
According to the tender documents, the purchase of parts will be carried out according to a simplified procedure. Tender offers will be accepted until September 5, 2022, and the auction will be scheduled after September 1.
Potential bidders are Senso Dynamics, Ukrainian Specialized Logistics and Kremenchutsk Steelworks (KSW). The companies asked the customer to change the tender documentation, but only the last two companies partially were satisfied with the request.
As GMK Center reported earlier, at the beginning of August 2022 Ukrzaliznytsia published a tender for the purchase of frames and bolsters for freight railcars for UAH 120 million. The tender was carried out according to the simplified procedure on August 22. The winner was the company Interresursy, but the financing of the tender decreased to UAH 50.45 million, as did the number of purchased parts. At the same time, KSW did not go to auctions.
The Interresursy company, whose main activity is sawmill production, offered the products of the Chinese Ruzhou company Tianrui for the production of spare parts for locomotives and railcars. Currently, the intention to sign the contract has been published.
