Ukrtransgaz produced 130 turbostoves from Metinvest steel for the Armed Forces

Soon, the company will activate the production of stoves, which will warm the soldiers in the trenches and dugouts in the winter

Ukrainian gas storage operator Ukrtransgaz has already produced 130 turbostoves from the Metinvest Group’s steel, which are handed over to the needs of the Ukrainian military. Corporate edition Metinvest.Media reports about it.

“Recently, a batch of 60 turbostoves was delivered to various areas of the front for the employees of Metinvest enterprises, who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.

The main function of these stoves is cooking. A large amount of fuel is not required to ignite the stove, but at the same time, its design ensures maximum heat generation and a stable temperature regime.

“The production of steel products for the needs of the Ukrainian military continues. Soon, the work on the production of stoves, which will warm the soldiers during their stay in the trenches and dugouts in the winter, will intensify,” the company reports.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest Group and Ukrainian gas storage operator Ukrtransgaz have organized a joint production of things necessary for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, the steelmakers delivered more than 6,000 tons of steel products, of which more than 5,000 items will be manufactured at the facilities of Ukrtransgaz.

Also, in 2021, Metinvest Group increased production of steel by 15% compared to 2020 – up to 9.5 million tons. The output of pig iron for the year also increased by 15% – up to 9.7 million tons. The production of iron ore concentrate amounted to 31.34 million tons (+3%).
