Ukraine in June 2022 reduced steel production by 6.3 times compared to June 2021, to 295 thousand tons. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine with reference to data from the World Steel Association.
Thus, Ukraine has been holding 36th place in the global steelmaking ranking since April, while in June 2021 the country was ranked 13th.
