Ukraine’s exports of ferroalloys declined by 7.8% in 2019

According to the customs statistics, in 2019, Ukraine reduced exports of ferroalloys by 7.8% to 833.608 thousand tons in physical terms compared to 2018.

In monetary terms, the Company’s exports declined by 6.9% to $910.172 million,

of which the share of Italy was 17.44%, Turkey — 16.13%, and the Netherlands — 9.61%.

In the meantime, Ukraine’s imports of ferroalloys in 2019 decreased by 26.4% against 2018, down to 44.411 thousand tons. In monetary terms, it dropped by 23.5%, down to $130.522 million.

16.13% of products were imported from Kazakhstan, 15.68% from Brazil, 15.07% from the Czech Republic.

In 2018, Ukraine decreased exports of ferroalloys by 3.5% in physical terms, down to 904.290 thousand terms, compared to 2017, and by 12.3% in monetary terms, down to $977.858 million.
