The hospital is being reconstructed in Kryvyi Rih with the support of Metinvest

In Kryvyi Rih, work on the reconstruction of the polyclinic department of the hospital in the city center is actively underway – the project is being implemented with the support of the Metinvest group. The company has allocated more than UAH 40 million for the restoration of medical facility departments. It is stated in the message of Metinvest.Media.

Large-scale renovation works are proceeding at a rapid pace. Old water supply, sewage and heating communications are being dismantled in the building. In addition, the roof is being prepared for waterproofing, old wooden frames are being replaced with plastic ones, radiators are being updated.

Before the beginning of the heating season, commissioning works of the heat supply system are planned here. In addition, before the onset of cold weather, the workers will prepare the facade of the building and develop the soil for the installation of the elevator shaft.

The installation of the elevator shaft and the installation of the elevator, the repair of roofs, the installation of cornices and the drainage system, the insulation of the facade of the building, the laying of tiles and asphalt, and other works are in the immediate plans of the builders. According to the project, the reconstruction of the city hospital is planned for several stages.

As the head doctor of the institution, Andriy Makov, told, this consultation center is the only one in the city staffed by doctors of all specialties, providing assistance to residents of the Central City District.

«During the day, our specialists receive up to 300 patients, and 22 people with neurological, urological, endocrinological diseases, as well as after surgical interventions can be treated at the same time in the day hospital. We also specialize in medical physiotherapy rehabilitation, as well as psychological support,» he says.

Operations Director of Metinvest Group Oleksandr Myronenko emphasized that the company always systematically supports Kryvyi Rih.

«Today, the hospital reconstruction project is very important for the residents of Kryvyi Rih, for the immigrants, and for our defenders. The company has allocated more than UAH 40 million for the restoration of medical facility departments. In general, from the first months of the full-scale invasion, we arranged the transfer of medicines to Kryvyi Rih to create the city’s strategic stockpile and to provide hospitals that function as hospitals. In order to strengthen the material and technical bases of medical facilities and expand the capabilities of doctors in saving lives, Metinvest has transferred high-tech equipment to surgical and trauma departments,» he said.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest group through «Steel Front» military initiative from the beginning of the full-scale invasion allocated UAH 10.6 million for the development of tactical medicine.
