Payments increased by 38% year-on-year
Metinvest Group’s Zaporizhstal, Zaporizhogneupor, Zaporizhkok, and Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant – paid a total of nearly UAH 3 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in January-September 2025, which is 38% more than in the same period last year. This is stated in the company’s press release.
Metinvest’s enterprises remain among the largest taxpayers in Zaporizhzhia. The largest share in the structure of payments is accounted for by the single social contribution (SSC) and personal income tax (PIT). In addition, in April 2025, the company increased salaries for employees of production and service enterprises, including in Zaporizhia, by up to 20%. Environmental tax, land tax, and military tax deductions also remain significant.
In addition to financial contributions, Metinvest’s enterprises in the Zaporizhzhia region systematically implement socially important initiatives: they support the development and establishment of veteran policy, implement projects to support the population, participate in the restoration of damaged infrastructure and the elimination of the consequences of enemy shelling, etc.
Taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, Metinvest Group paid UAH 13.8 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in Ukraine in the first nine months of 2025.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest remains the largest taxpayer in Ukraine’s mining and metallurgical complex: in 2024, the company paid UAH 19.8 billion in taxes and fees, which is 61% of the total amount of deductions made by Ukrainian metallurgical companies. In the context of a full-scale war, this is an important contribution to supporting Ukraine’s economy. At the same time, the company continues to help the army and civilians, and is making plans for the future to participate in the country’s post-war recovery.
