Metinvest Group’s Zaporizhzhia enterprises – Zaporizhstal, Zaporizhvognetryv, Zaporizhcoke, and Zaporizhzhia Foundry and Mechanical Plant – paid a total of nearly UAH 1.7 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in the first half of 2025, which is 20% more than in the same period last year. This is stated in the company’s press release.
Metinvest’s enterprises remain among the largest taxpayers in Zaporizhzhia. Revenues to local budgets for the period amounted to over UAH 543 million, which is 10% more than in the same period of 2024.
In the structure of taxes and fees, the largest deductions were single tax on personal income and single social contribution. A significant share of deductions is accounted for by environmental and land taxes, as well as military fees.
In addition, the company’s enterprises remain among the largest employers in the region, implementing socially important security, humanitarian, educational, and infrastructure projects for the city and its residents.
It should be noted that, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, Metinvest Group paid UAH 9.3 billion in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels in Ukraine in the first half of 2025.
As GMK Center reported earlier, Metinvest remains the largest taxpayer in Ukraine’s mining and metallurgical sector: in 2024, the company paid UAH 19.8 billion in taxes and fees, accounting for 61% of the total contributions of Ukraine’s metallurgical enterprises. In the context of a full-scale war, this is an important contribution to supporting Ukraine’s economy. At the same time, the company continues to help the army and civilians, and is making plans for the future to participate in the country’s post-war recovery.
