Metinvest Pokrovskvugillia has produced over 1 million tons of concentrate since the beginning of the year

The Pokrovsk Coal Group, which is part of the Metinvest Group (Metinvest Pokrovskvugillia), has produced more than 1 million tons of coal concentrate since the beginning of the year. This is stated in press release company on the Facebook page.

By the end of 2024, the miners of the Pokrovsk mine and the beneficiators of the Sviato-Varvarynska factory plan to produce about 2.8 million tons of concentrate.

«More than a third of this path has already been completed. The first million tons were produced in mid-March. All because, despite the war, modernization of production continues at the enterprises,» the report says.

The company plans to make remote control of combines by 2025. Currently, threaded complexes are used to speed up the commissioning of new benches.

As of mid-April, Metinvest Pokrovskvugillia has produced 1.24 million tons of coal. By the end of 2024, the group plans to extract 5.3 million tons of coal and put into operation two more cleaning pits.

On February 21, 2024, the company put into operation the 11th coking coal mining bench in the 10th block of Pokrovsk industrial complex.

Despite the difficult mining and geological conditions, the 11th bench, 242 m long, is one of the promising areas of work. Its reserves amount to 993,000 tons of coal. Miners plan to extract up to 2.5 thousand tons of coal per day from this slaughter. It is expected that the development of lava reserves will last more than a year.

As GMK Center reported, in 2023 Metinvest Pokrovskvugillia produced 3.1 million tons of coal concentrate, 20 km of mining workings were completed.
