In January-June 2024, Metinvest Group, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, increased taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine by 56% compared to the same period in 2023 – to UAH 9.9 billion. This is stated in the press release of the company.
The fee for subsoil use for the first half of the year has more than tripled compared to January-June 2023 – up to UAH 2.9 billion, the single social contribution (SSC) – by 19% y/y, up to UAH 1.8 billion, and the tax on personal income – by 16% y/y, up to UAH 1.7 billion.
At the same time, Ukrainian enterprises of Metinvest paid 1.4 billion UAH of income tax in January-June, which is 26% more than in the previous year. Land payment increased by 7% against the same period last year, to 631 million UAH, and environmental tax – by 22%, to 368 million UAH.

It should be noted that during the first quarter of 2024, Metinvest transferred UAH 4.2 billion of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels of Ukraine. Thus, in the II quarter of this year, this amount is 5.7 billion UAH.
In 2023, Metinvest Group, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, paid UAH 14.6 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine. Among the largest in terms of payments is the single social contribution (SSC), which is 3.3 billion UAH, income tax – 3.2 billion UAH and personal income tax – more than 3 billion UAH.
