Metinvest handed over a batch of aid worth UAH 7 million to Ukrainian intelligence officers

Metinvest Group handed over another batch of aid with a total value of UAH 7 million to the Main Intelligence Directorate (MID). Metinvest.Media reports about it.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the company has been providing support to the MID. This time, at the request of Ukrainian intelligence officers, they were given 20 generators, 50 drones, ten thermal imagers, as well as a pickup truck to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Previously, they received special purpose ammunition sets, various tactical equipment and machinery.

According to Oleksandr Vodovoz, head of the project office of the Metinvest Group’s CEO, the company tries to respond to the requests of the military as quickly as possible, because during the war, every minute can be worth a life.

“If there is a need for steel that is available at Metinvest enterprises, the army receives it as quickly as possible. But there are requests that need more time to complete. In particular, if it is necessary to deliver equipment that is in short supply in the country. Now, within the framework of the military initiative «Steel Front» of Rinat Akhmetov, we are once again providing assistance to our scouts and will do so until the complete victory of Ukraine,” he noted.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Kryvyi Rih enterprises of the Metinvest Group produced 12 modular shelters for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Structures are assembled from corrugated steel according to an improved project, taking into account the needs of the military. The structure is quickly disassembled for transportation and moving to other positions. In total, within the framework of the «Steel Front» military initiative, the company’s enterprises produced and handed over 40 modular shelters to the Ukrainian military.

Also, Metinvest allocated UAH 4 million on the development of tactical medicine of Ukrainian servicemen. The company cooperates with the PULSE charity fund as part of the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In March-November 2022, more than 10,000 servicemen received basic tactical and medical training from PULSE.
