Metinvest handed over 800 bulletproof vests for defenders in the Avdiivka direction

Metinvest Group sent 800 more high-class bulletproof vests to the Avdiika region for military personnel, territorial defense and policemen, serving in hot spots. This is stated in the Metinvest.Media’s press release.

Currently, Metinvest has already handed over 2.3 thousand units of ammunition to the defenders and employees of the critical infrastructure of Avdiivka.

“We support our military in every possible way in the fight against the Russian invasion. In the near future, we expect another batch of body armors for the Armed Forces. In addition, we provided defenders of the Donetsk region with 30 tons of coal for heating. We also provided the military administration with fuel for refueling cars in order to take people to safer settlements of Ukraine, further from the front line,” said Yury Ktsynenko, acting CEO of Avdiyivka Coke Plant.

As GMK Center reported earlier, from the beginning of the Russian invasion Metinvest has handed over 150,000 body armors to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Thus, every tenth body armor in the Armed Forces is made of Metinvest steel or purchased by the Group.
