Metinvest handed medicines to the front-line Avdiyivka for over UAH 200,000

According to the medical director, Vitaliy Sytnyk, the hospital received the long-awaited medicine for the patients of Avdiyivka. With the onset of the winter season, many patients who need drugs against viral infections turn to the medical facility. These medicines will be issued to local residents.

Before the full-scale invasion, we helped restore hospital buildings, renovated inpatient units, equipped them with specialized equipment and furniture. And during the pandemic, an automated oxygen supply system was built and oxygen was supplied free of charge. Now we have new challenges and needs – we are helping the hospital with the necessary medicines,” said the acting CEO of AKHZ Yuriy Ktsynenko.

From the first days of the war, Metinvest established cooperation with Ukrainian hospitals, where humanitarian goods are systematically delivered. First of all, under a separate program, the company together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation organized the supply of medicines, consumables and equipment to the cities of presence – Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, Kamianske, Pokrovsk and Avdiyivka.

As GMK Center reported earlier, at the beginning of December, Kametstal Iron and Steel Works restored a powerful diesel generator for the Kamianske hospital. The generator with a capacity of 200 KW and a weight of more than 3.5 tons arrived at the crane depot, where repairmen quickly checked its performance, performed the necessary technical operations and successfully started the installation.
