Kametstal paid UAH 1.6 billion in taxes in 2022

In 2022, Kametstal Iron and Steel Works transferred more than UAH 1.598 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels. This is stated in the press release on the company’s Facebook page.

“Despite the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Metinvest Group’s Kametstal remains a reliable pillar of the economy of our city and country. In 2022, Kametstal transferred UAH 1.598 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels,” the report says.

Over UAH 528 million was received by the budget of the city of Kamianske. More than UAH 1.07 billion was paid to the regional and state budgets.

Among the largest payments of Kametstal to the budgets of Ukraine: the single social contribution – more than 400 million UAH, personal income tax – 350 million UAH, land tax – 306 million UAH.

Last year, the environmental tax, amounting to more than UAH 123 million, was also a significant source of filling the state and local budgets.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in 2022, Metinvest Group, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, transferred UAH 20.5 billion of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine. In the structure of taxes and fees, the largest were: income tax – UAH 6.6 billion, single social contribution – more than UAH 4 billion, personal income tax – UAH 3.7 billion.

Also, during the 10 months of the war, Metinvest allocated more than UAH 2.8 billion to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities, support employees and civilians. The company is one of the largest suppliers of ammunition for the army among private Ukrainian businesses.
