Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has been recognized as a leader in the field of business-education cooperation. The company received the award for its systematic support of secondary technical and higher engineering education as part of the TOP 100. Ratings of the Largest rating. This is the result of six years of consistent work by the company to create a technical education ecosystem in Dnipro, according to delo.ua.

Against the backdrop of a general decline in interest in engineering and blue-collar professions, Interpipe has joined forces with city authorities, educational institutions, and universities to restore young people’s interest in technical specialties. Today, the company is developing two trajectories: “School – Vocational School – Production” and “School – University – Production.”

Twelve modern workshops and mechatronics laboratories have been created at the school level. Children work with real equipment, learn to draw, process metal, and program controllers, which transforms formal lessons into exciting activities.

In 2024, Interpipe renovated the workshop at Vocational School No. 2, where CNC machine operators are trained. The training program is adapted to the needs of production, so graduates do not need to retrain at the plant.

At the higher education level, the company supports the Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University. Two modern mechatronics laboratories have been set up there, where students work with equipment similar to that used in production.

In addition to material support, Interpipe organises excursions, technical competitions and the annual Interpipe Mechatronic Lab competition, promoting the exact sciences among young people.

Despite the war, the company is not cutting back on its investment in education. In 2025, Interpipe plans to open two more mechatronics laboratories, modernize two classrooms, and create new workshops for turners and electricians.

Senior students in Dnipro are increasingly choosing technical fields thanks to modern educational projects. One of the drivers of this change is Interpipe, which, together with Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University, has implemented two outstanding STEM projects. Both initiatives recently completed their season and proved that technical education can be interesting, accessible, and in demand among young people.

Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that produces steel pipes and railway products. The company’s products are supplied to more than 50 countries worldwide through a network of sales offices located in key markets in the Middle East, North America, and Europe.
