Interpipe Nico Tube – the winner of the FEU Ukrainian Employers Awards

The Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) has recognized Interpipe Nico Tube as the winner of the Ukrainian Employers Awards in the category “Unbreakable Business of an Unbreakable Country”. This is a well-deserved recognition of the metallurgical enterprise, which operates under constant shelling and danger, the FEU said in a press release.

Nikopol, where Interpipe Niko Tube is located, is only 5 km from occupied Enerhodar and less than 10 km from Zaporizhzhia NPP. The city is under constant attack from the enemy, which uses mortars, artillery, Shahideen and S-300 missiles.

“For the company’s employees, the alarm is a daily reality, and concrete shelters in the workshops have become an integral part of their work,” the FEU notes.

Despite the difficult conditions, Interpipe Niko Tube has not only maintained production but also continues to develop it. During the war, the company mastered more than 200 new types of products for customers in the European Union, the United States, the Middle East and Australia. A unique achievement was the production of tubes for truck axles, a product manufactured by only three companies in the world.

Two-thirds of the skyscrapers in Dubai were built using the products of the Interpipe Group, to which Nico Tube belongs. The company is already preparing for the reconstruction of Ukraine, convinced that its products will play an important role in the future.

The steadfastness and professionalism of Interpipe Nico Tube employees have become an example for all Ukrainian businesses. They proved that even in the most difficult conditions it is possible to maintain and develop production, supporting the country’s economy.

“We are grateful to Nikopol pipe workers who, in such extremely difficult, military conditions, almost reached the pre-war level in terms of production last year. Despite daily threats and staff shortages, it is Interpipe Niko Tube’s employees who ensure the export of pipe products to dozens of countries, the expansion of the product mix and millions of dollars in investments,” Interpipe said.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in January-September 2024, Interpipe increased the payment of taxes and duties to the budgets of all levels and off-budget funds of Ukraine by 27% compared to the same period in 2023, to UAH 3.992 billion.

Despite the difficulties of wartime, Interpipe remains one of the key industrial companies in Ukraine, continuing to manufacture railway and pipe products for the domestic and export markets, invest in production facilities, and increase contributions to the Ukrainian budget. The total number of employees is about 9.5 thousand, including 950 people who serve in the Armed Forces or other law enforcement agencies.
