Interpipe intends to expand its presence in the Gulf countries

The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe is stepping up its activities in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia. On November 13, 2024, with the support of its partner Al-Sayed Center, the company organized a large-scale conference in Dammam that brought together 216 participants from 177 local companies. Among the guests was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the KSA Anatoliy Petrenko, who addressed the audience with a speech emphasizing the stability of Ukrainian production even in difficult war conditions.

Saudi Arabia has been an important market for Interpipe for over 10 years. The company has established itself as a reliable supplier of pipes for fire extinguishing, cooling, water supply and truck wheels under the KLW brand. The company’s products are used in significant infrastructure projects, including the King Abdullah Financial District, Riyadh Metro, and Jeddah Airport.

The event also served as a platform for discussing key issues ranging from investments in production to logistics solutions that contribute to supply chain efficiency. Interpipe is committed to expanding its share of the construction pipe segment in the region by focusing on long-term partnerships with customers and adapting to market needs.

The conference in Dammam once again confirmed that Interpipe is not only a manufacturer of high-quality products, but also a reliable partner ready to meet new challenges and expand its presence in the Gulf countries.

“We are open to developing further our economic ties in the region. The main goal of the event in Saudi Arabia was to walk potential local customers through our pipe product portfolio as well as to look for new opportunities of enhancing cooperation with Interpipe’s regular customers. Aside from pipe standard sizes and steel grades, participants were interested in the investments into production and logistics specifics,” said Artem Artemov, Pipe Sales Director for MENA markets at Interpipe

As GMK Center reported earlier, Interpipe has set up more than 200 new types of pipe products for European customers over the past 2 years. By expanding its product portfolio, the company has found new customers in such areas as micropiles, fittings and bends, and even mobile cranes.

Interpipe is an international vertically integrated pipe and wheel company that ranks among the top 10 seamless pipe producers in the world and among the top 3 producers of all-rolled railway wheels.
