In January 2026, Ukrainian ferroalloy enterprises exported 0.76 thousand tons of products compared to 8.33 thousand tons (-90.8% y-o-y) during the same month of 2025. This is evidenced by GMK Center calculations based on data from the State Customs Service.
Compared to the previous month, shipments decreased by 68.9%. Thus, exports fell to the lows of early 2024, when shipments almost stopped due to the downtime of key producers.
Almost all exports went to Poland – 0.486 thousand tons, which is 75.8% less than in December 2025 and 85.4% less than in January last year.
Export revenue in January fell to $1.07 million compared to $8.65 million a year earlier (-87.7% y/y).
As reported by GMK Center, in 2025, Ukrainian ferroalloy enterprises exported 93.84 thousand tons of products compared to 77.36 thousand tons (+21.4% y/y) during the same period in 2024. Export revenue increased to $105.44 million compared to $88.63 million a year earlier (+19% y/y).
The largest consumers of ferroalloy products during the period were Algeria (21.28 thousand tons), Poland (25.97 thousand tons, +24% y/y), Turkey – 20.4 thousand tons (+87% y/y), and Italy – 12.02 thousand tons (-29.1% y/y).
