DMZ has confirmed that its factory control system for hot-rolled steel complies with EU requirements

The Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMP) has successfully passed the annual surveillance audit of its factory production control system for hot-rolled steel, confirming its compliance with the requirements of the EU Construction Products Regulation. This is reported in the corporate newspaper DCH Steel.

The online inspection was carried out by representatives of ‘Technical and Management Services’ — the official partner of TÜV SÜD Czech in Ukraine.

The auditors assessed the implementation of equipment maintenance schedules and the compliance of documents and processes with approved methodologies, standards and regulations.

Particular attention was paid to the use of calibrated measuring equipment, quality control of billets and the mechanical properties of finished rolled products.

The auditors’ final report states that the factory production control system meets all established requirements. Following review of the report by TÜV SÜD Czech specialists, the company received official confirmation that the certificate has been extended for a further year.

The factory production control system for hot-rolled steel products was first certified in 2010 for compliance with Construction Products Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 and standard EN 10025-1. Since then, the company has annually confirmed its compliance with these requirements, enabling it to produce steel products for the European market.

It should be noted that in the first half of 2026, DMZ paid 95.7 million UAH in taxes and duties to budgets at all levels.
