ECA supported Ukrainian exports by almost UAH 350 million in September

The Export Credit Agency (ECA) supported exports worth UAH 343.8 million in September this year. This is stated in the agency’s report.

Five exporters also received support from the ECA in the form of insurance for foreign economic activity contracts worth UAH 59.3 million.

In regional terms, the largest volumes of supported exports in September were recorded in Vinnytsia (UAH 194.85 million), Dnipropetrovsk (UAH 48.73 million), and Cherkasy (UAH 38.14 million) regions.

Romania became the key export destination during this period, with products worth UAH 97.4 million being sent there. The Czech Republic, Moldova, and Sweden each imported Ukrainian goods worth UAH 48.7 million.

In terms of product structure, the largest exports will be vegetable processing products, ferrous metal products, and furniture.

The leaders among ECA’s partner banks last month were Ukrgasbank, which provided export support worth UAH 211.7 million, and Kredobank, which provided UAH 48.73 million.

It should be noted that in 2024, the agency supported UAH 7.53 billion in Ukrainian exports, and each hryvnia of its liability brought in UAH 7.52 in future export revenue.

Last year, the agency supported 69 exporters by insuring their foreign economic contracts, loans for the performance of such contracts, and investment loans. The volume of export financing issued by banks under the agency’s insurance amounted to UAH 1 billion.

As GMK Center reported earlier, Ukraine’s trade turnover for January-September 2025 amounted to $89.6 billion. During this period, goods worth $60.1 billion were imported into the country, and goods worth $29.5 billion were exported.
