In June, domestic prices for most items rose by 1–2.4%
According to the figures for June, domestic prices for rolled steel products for the construction sector generally rose by 1–2.4%. Prices for profiled pipes and hot-rolled sheet (5–14 mm) remained unchanged. This is evidenced by the trend in the composite price index for construction steel products compiled by the Ukrainian Centre for Steel Construction Association.
Since the start of the year, prices for construction-grade steel products have risen across the board:
- 100×4 profile pipes – by 20.4% to 46.1 thousand UAH per tonne;
- 114×4 round pipes – by 19.9% to 47.1 thousand UAH per tonne;
- hot-rolled sheet 5–14 mm – by 18.6% to 41.7 thousand UAH per tonne;
- angle bar 63×5 – by 10.5% to 37.7 thousand UAH per tonne;
- beam No. 20 – by 6% to 42.6 thousand UAH per tonne;
- channel section No. 18 – by 5.1% to 61.8 thousand UAH per tonne.

According to estimates by Metinvest-SMC, the capacity of the rebar segment in the Ukrainian domestic market in 2025 increased by 14% – to 754 thousand tonnes. Consumption of beams, angles and channels increased by 14% to 180,000 tonnes. The hot-rolled steel segment recorded growth of 12% – to 997,000 tonnes.
Total consumption of steel products on the Ukrainian market (excluding polymer-coated rolled steel, seamless pipes, stainless steel rolled products and tinplate) in 2025 rose by 12% year-on-year – to 3.4 million tonnes.
