Centravis transferred the main production to night shifts

In this way, the company plans to reduce the load on the power system

Centravis, one of the largest suppliers of stainless steel pipes in Europe, continues to work in three shifts despite the shelling of Nikopol and the whole of Ukraine, but has shifted the main production to night shifts. This is stated in letter for customers posted on the company’s official website.

By shifting production to night shifts, the company expects to reduce the load on the power system.

“Ukraine’s government initiated the program of optimizing the national energy consumption. The volume of production outputs in Centravis will remain unchanged, but now we will produce more at night and less during the day to lower the load on the energy system,” said the sales director Artem Atanasov.

According to him, the production of Centravis continues to work. Hot and cold shops continue to work in three shifts.

“All equipment is running. Production is provided with billets and all necessary materials. Our Logistics team is actively working and constantly looking for the best and safe ways to deliver the finished products,” said the company’s sales director.

Worldwide sales offices in Essen, Milan, Krakow, Lugano, Houston and Dubai are open, financial and administrative customer support departments are ready for calls and inquiries.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in early October 2022, the company was restored night shifts despite the shelling of Nikopol. Now the company works in three shifts.

Also, in 2021, the company’s production volume was 19.43 thousand tons compared to 19.05 thousand tons in 2020. In January-May 2022, Centravis produced 5.5 thousand tons of products, which is 25.7% less than in the same period of 2021.
